About:China Visa on Arrival

Can I get a transit visa if I leave South Korea and then re enter via different airports?

Hi, I want to visit Shanghai for the weekend in April. I have bought tickets leaving from Gimpo in Seoul and flying to a smaller airport in Shanghai. I then fly back from Shanghai Pu Dong to Incheon airport near Seoul. Can I get a free transit for this case?

Sean, I’m afraid you cannot get a free transit because after your stopover in Shanghai, you fly back to South Korea. If you want to use the free transit, you should fly to a third country or region rather than Korea after you stay in Shanghai.
