About:Chinese Embassy in Norway

visa to go outside Hong Kong airport

Hi! I'm living in Norway, but is not a Norwegian citizen. I need to wait at HK airport for 11 hours before my next trip. Somebody know how to apply for a Hong Kong entry permit online so I can go outside the airport? I'm not living in Oslo.

Susan, you need to apply for a transit entry permit in Norway. The first step is to prepare the relevant documents including the competed application form affixed with a recently-taken passport-sized color photo, copy of your passport, proof of your financial standing, flight itinerary, and you residence permit in Norway, as well as proof of your travel to the next destination after transit in HK. And then submit your application to the embassy of PRC in Norway to apply for transit entry permit. Once you get it, you can transit in HK and leave the airport.
