how to use nanjing metro card?

Hey everyone, I am new to the city and don't speak a word of chinese.I would like to ask you how does the metro card work! I mean, how do you put credit in it, how do you know what your remaining credit is, and does it work both on subway and buses?Thanks so much!

Hi, the most popular transportation card is Jin Ling Tong, which can be used on suwbay, buses, ferries, taxis and public bikes. For your convenience, get a card in the Customer Service Center at a metro station. You can also reload the card there and check your balance.
