About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

New York -> Shanghai -> Beijing -> Bangkok

Hello,
I will enter China through Shanghai and then fly to Beijing, where I will stay for 2 days, and then depart to Bangkok. I did not ask for a Visa, and won't have time to do so, since my flight leaves this Friday. Is this allowed?
Thank you

Fernando, I'm afraid you can't do so. The free transit policy does not apply to you. You should apply for an entry permit as soon as possible.
