About:Bao'en Temple Pagoda

Fee/Interview

1. Is there a fee to update a Z visa from the entry permit to the subsequent type the employer applies for after the worker is in-country?
2. How likely is it that the Consulate will want to interview an applicant for an initial Z type before issuing it?

Joe, yes, it charges the fee to apply for the residence permit after one enters with work Z type.
Whether you need to accept an interview or not depends on the specific situation. If you are required to accept a face-to-face interview, you just need to be honest and provide detailed information. Of course, if you have made preparation and provide all the required documents, you may not need to be interviewed.
