do we qualify for the 72 hour visa free transit??

Question

We are flying into Jieyang from Singapore and wish to stay in Shantou for 3 days.Does this 72 hour free policy applies for us. We are Australians.

Chris, I'm afraid you cannot enjoy this policy because Jieyang Airport has not adopted this policy yet. You can fly from Singapore to Baiyun Airport in Guangzhou, so that you can enjoy the policy and you are allowed to travel to Jieyang and Shantou. But you should leave from Baiyun Airport for a third country or region after three days.
