How's Chengdu City in general? I'm thinking about studying here.

Previously I studied in Harbin and this time I wanted to choose something different. Is it very hot? How's the air quality? Is there a lot of streetfood (love it)? How's the architecture, more like "modern-China" or more like "old, good-China"? Is there a lot to see there? And - most important - are there any Uyghur's BBQ's there?! Thank you.

It is not very hot all year round. The air quality is pretty good. Of course, there are plenty of streetfood for you. It is a modern city with many old traditional buildings. There are many attractions, such as Panda Base, Jinli Street, Wide adn Narrow Alley, Qingcheng Mountain, and Jiuzhaigou. Yes, you can find Uyghur people selling delicious barbecue on the street. The local people lead a leisure life, and they are very friendly. In a word, it is a nice city.
