About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Flying into Beijing, stay 2 nights, cruise to Japan and S. Korea, return Beijing, fly out.

Flying into Beijing from Australia, staying 2 nights see Forbidden city and Great wall, joining Royal Caribbean cruise to Japan and S. Korea, returning to Beijing for flight back to Australia. Do we need a visa or dual entry one?

Jim, when you go back from South Korea to Beijing, if you stay there for less than 24 hours and catch the connecting flight, you can enjoy the 24-hour direct transit. So you only need to apply for a single-entry permit.
