About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

need to apply again for L visa - can I do while I still have the previous one?

My Tourist L type ends this 4th May (I'm going there for vacations during MARCH), but it turns out that I need to go there again in the 1st week of May! They wont let me in with 4 days of valid visa...

My question: Do I need to wait for my current L type to finish (4th May), and next day apply again for Tourist L type? Or can I apply right now for a new one (same type), or some kind of extension, in Poland (where I live)?

Please note that I'm going for vacations to China but I NEED to come back to Poland (where I work) - so I do my visas here.

1. Dear, you can enter before 4th May because 4th May refers to the validity of your tourist L type. May I know the stay duration of your tourist L type? If it is 30 days or more, it means that you can stay for 30 days or more after your entry to PRC before 4th May. In this case, you don’t need to apply for a new tourist L type.
2. You are advised to apply for it according to the starting date of your trip. You’d better apply for it one month earlier before your trip.

The thing is that I have one entry. I will enter in March ( I had vacations planned already). But I need to go again in beginning of May.

Since my one entry will be used,I need to apply to new one. But can I apply now or need to wait till expires? Tks for ur answer

Rute, you should apply for a new one after the current one expires. Otherwise, once you get the new one, the current one will expire automatically and you can't use it any more.
