72-Hour Visa-Free Transit for Norwegians

Hi!
We are some Norwegians transiting in Beijing (10 hrs) on our way to Manila. I see Norway is not on the list of qualified countries for the 72-hour free transit, will we not be able to use that? Do we have other options, or is the only way for us to apply for "regular" entry permit on beforehand?
Thanks!

Does the "Direct Transit within 24 hours" give me the opportunity to leave the airport and go sightseeing?

Lene, you cannot enjoy the 72 hour free transit because of your nationality.
But because you just transit in Beijing for 10 hours, you can use the 24 hour direct transit. You don’t need to apply for an entry permit.
