About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

M or F visa?

Hello and good morning.

I am working for an English university, and will be going to China for 4 months to train some of the students in English before they arrive at our university. All salary is still paid in England as that is where I am employed, and therefore I am not taking any money from PRC. Therefore I believe I need an M or F type, but which is appropriate?

Bill, I think business M type may be for your choice. But I’m not sure that if the consulate general will require you to apply for a work Z type because you need to stay in PRC for 4 months. You’d better contact with the CVASC and consult about it.
