72 hour layover when transiting international through kmgpvg

Hi I am travelling from Vientiane, KMG (15 hour layover), Shanghai, (2 hour layover) to Vancouver.  Can i get the 72 hour visa to spend the night in Kunming. Thanks

72 hours visa free policy only allows passengers to stay at one city in Mainland China. So according to your situation, you cannot enjoy this policy.But don't worry. You can enjoy 24 hours visa free policy because the stopover is within 24 hours. And if you wanna go outside, you just need to apply for the stay permit at the airport. Don't worry. :)
