About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Brzilian passport holder will transit in Beijing, a visa needed?

I have a brazilian passport and my flight will arrive in Beijing from Paris on 19th March at 12:35 and I will leave Beijing to Bangkok on 22nd march at 19:45.
I believe I won't need any entry permit as flight itinerary meets the requirements.
On 5th April, I will come back to London from Phuket, which means I will have to stop at Beijing for my connection flight (Phuket - Beijing - London).
Do I need an entry permit for this, even if I won't leave the airport?

Luiza, for your first stopover in Beijing, you may need an entry permit because your transit time is over 72 hours. You had better check this with the airline.

For your second stoover, the entry permit is not required.
