72 hours in Beijing policy

If arriving in Beijing at 10am does the 72 hours start from midnight On the day of arrival? So arrival on 27th at 10am and departing on 30th at 12pm should be within the 72 hours?

It's not the case in Beijing. The 72 hours start from the time that you have finished all paperwork at the airport, so I'm afraid your layover is beyond the limit.
