About:Dual Nationality

Does China allow dual citizenship from Hong Kong Residents?

Since Hong Kong is a special district, does China allow people from Hong Kong to acquire China citizenship? Or are they automatically China citizen?

Yes, but you need to give up your HK citizenship in that case.
