extended stay in china to undertake traditional chinese medicine treatment

Question

I would like visit China to undertake authentic Traditional Chinese medicine treatment,  it is expected that this will necessitate me staying in China for an extended time. What is the maximum length of stay I will be allowed.  I am UK resident.  Retired. With adequate pension to cover the costs
