About:Packing Tips for Traveling China

I am very allergy to peanuts, as well as most other nuts.

I am traveling through southeast china with three other people, two of which use to live there for three weeks. They said i should bring some "instant" type foods and meal replacement bars with me to be on the safe side. Would i encounter problems at the chinese customs with some food in my suitcase?

Cally, the packaged food like chocolate, biscuits and crisps can be taken to the plane. But taking fruit, dairy product, or eggs is forbidden.
Just a hint: peanuts are not that widely used in China. Just check if the food is cooked by using peanut oil before you eat. Packing some OTC allergy medications is also necessary.
