Medical Exam and allergy to latex concern

I am in the process of getting a Z visa and then a Residency Permit for China. The main concern I have is that I have an allergy to latex. Does anyone know the best way to communicate this to the doctors? Do the doctors they send me to speak English? I am trying to learn Mandarian but I have a feeling the phrase "I am allergic to latex, do you have other gloves?" will not come up in Rosetta Stone. Thank you

Hi Ashley, usually the medical examination is conducted at a local public hospital or a heath care center affiliated to the Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau. If you take the examination in big cities, it's likely that the doctor can speak English. But if you do this in a small city, the doctor may not speak English.

Here, I translate what you want to say to Chinese. You can print it and show it to the doctor. Hope it will be useful.
