About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

transit stay at CAN

I am going to travel by China Southern from San Francisco to New Delhi and there is lay over for 20 hours at Guangzhou Airport on 4 March 2016. Can I rest in hotel in airport or otherise hotel will be provided say outside of airport and then transit visa is required or not? If transit visa is required then how to proceed?

For your case, transit visa is not needed. After landing, just apply for a stay permit at the immigration counter. Then you will be allowed to go outside. For accommodation, right opposite the terminal building, you can find the Pullman Airport Hotel, which can be the best choice.
