About:Beijing Travel

Hi there,I have a 9 hour stop over in Beijing and am keen to get out of the airport.

I'd explore the city rather than sit in the airport for 9 hours. Do you know how I go about getting the 72 hour transit VISA? Do I get it once I arrive or do I need to request it beforehand, like when I check in? Also, if I do have to request it before I check in can I still leave my bags checked in or would me having the 72 hour VISA mean I have to recheck my bags?
Thanks in advance,
Amy.

To apply to the policy, you should be the case of transferring from international to international. If eligible, it is not need to recheck your luggage, which will be directly delivered to the final destination. Just fill in the "embarkation/disembarkation card" onboard before landing. Then you can easily apply for the 72h visa-free at the immigration. No need to handle anything beforehand.
