About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Beijing 20 hour transit, where to obtain the temporary stay permit?

I have 20 h layovers and would like to go sightseeing in the city. Where do I apply for a Temporary Entry Permit? At he same counter as for 72-hour free transit or somewhere else?

Simona, you should apply for the temporary stay permit at the immigration inspection, instead of the 72 hour free transit counter.

Hi Simona, is the immigration inspection counter located in the airport in Beijing? I'm also traveling from Houston, TX to Beijing for a 9 hour layover. Is that the only place a Temporary Permit can be obtained?
