About:China Work Visa

part time job on X-visa

I will be living in china studying Intl. Affairs at Beijing University (X 1 type) and I don't know if I can get a part time job and work legally in China until I graduate. I speak basic chinese and my plan is to become fluent while studying.

In principle, you cannot do that. But in real practice, someone did take part-time job with student X type.

Dear, I had the same situation before. Actually, you can take part in the work-study program at school.
Besides, if your school assents you to do part-time job, you can do it. But you need to go to the exit and entry administration of the local PSB to add relevant remarks on your student X type.
