Travel Document in lieu of national passport

If i'm currently holding a "Travel Document in lieu of national passport" (looks like a passport) from my country, one that usually gets 90 day stay automatically on entry, do I now have to make a visa in advance? Or just cross the border the way I used to, so many times before my original passport was stolen?

Zack, do you say you once enter HK with this travel document and you were given a 90-day free stay? If yes, it's still the case now.
