About:China Visa

USC traveling from manila to bejing

I am a US citizen, I will be visiting family in Manila in April. I would like to fly from Manila to Bejing for a week of sightseeing. Do I need to get a Visa in advance???

Dear, if possible, you’d better apply for it in USA because if you don’t have Philippines residence permit or work permit, it may be troublesome to apply from there. And according to what you said above, you have enough time to apply for it in USA.
The required documents include your passport and copy of its data page, the completed application from affixed with a passport-sized color photo taken recently, round trip air tickets and hotel reservation.

Yes, you do. If you have 2 or 3 days in Manila, then you can obtain a visa at the Chinese embassy in Makati

I am a Canadian citizen and have successfully applied for a Chinese tourist L type while outside of Canada several times. There is absolutely no need to apply for a tourist L type from one's country
