Which is better from HKG to Zhangjiajie closer or HKG to Guilin?

Guilin is much closer and direct flights are available from HKIA, which only takes around 1.5h. After visiting Guilin, you can take a bullet train to Liuzhou first and then transfer to an ordinary train to ZJJ. This way is more practical!
