About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

Transfer time PEK > BKK question

Hello,

We are flying in March on CA 818 to Bejing and then to Bangkok on CA 979. The transfer time is 90 minutes.

Do you know usual gates numbers for these flights?

I am assuming it’s the same terminal and will not need to out and then back in through security. Is that right?

Do we need to claim our checked-in bags in Bejing or will CA deliver them directly to Bangkok?

If the CA 818 flight is late and we have, say, 50 min between flights, will the airline help us to go through the airport faster? What are the procedures? Do you have any suggestions?

Thank you!

1. The usual gate numbers are C55-56.
2. Yes, it is in the same terminal: T3. You needn't go out. But you need to go through security check.
3. Your luggage will be delivered to Bangkok directly. You needn't claim it.
4. Yes, the airline can help you handle that. Don't worry! The procedures are as follows: Flight Arrival- Transfer Procedures- having your passport stamped- Security Check- Custom Inspection- Waiting and Boarding.
