i am indian residing in UAE. I plan to travel to mainland at the end of march. how many days prior to travel I should apply for a visa? what is the duration of visa after issued before travelling? From where can I get the application form? Any URL address?

You can apply for it three months prior to your travel, but usually, you are advised to apply for it one month earlier before your trip. The stay duration refers to the allowed stay time in PRC after your entry. You can download the application form at this website or at the official website of the embassy of PRC.
