About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

I have a US Passport, we are traveling to China from Japan in the end of April.

I am wondering how far in advance I can apply for my visa and how long it takes? I have a work trip to Brazil just prior to this trip and need a visa for that as well apparently. And will not have time between the two trips to apply.

Linzy, the earliest time you can apply is three months prior to your date to leave for PRC.
