About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Honk Kong status

I understand that going to HK from china would qualify as third country but is coming from HK an issue?
I.E. I fly NYC-HKG-PEK-NYC would that qualify?

Jay, don’t worry. If you fly in such a route and transit for less than 72 hours, you qualify for the free transit.
