lijiang - tlg - zhongodian - baishuitai - lijiang

Question

Is it possible, by leaving Lijiang early morning, and visit Middle section of TLG and reach Zhongodian in the evening? If so, I would like to leave Zhongodian the next morning, visit Baishuitai and come back to Lijiang by the evening. As far as is read up on the availability of public transportation, it seems possible. But can someone tell me if my itinerary is indeed doable?

Your travel plan is doable if you hire a car, but if you take public transportation, I'am afraid it is not possible. It takes around 4 hours from Zhongdian to Baishuitai and there is no direct bus from Baishuitai to Lijiang. You need to get back to Zhongdian or take bus to TLG, where you may find the bus back to Lijiang if it is not too late.

Thank you, Candy.So, I am thinking of staying at TLG the first night, instead of going all the way to Zhongdian. Then, I could possibly visit both TLG and Baishuitai that day and head back to Lijian the next day. Am I right?
