About:Shenzhen Transportation

Please summarize Hong Kong and Kowloon to Shenzhen Luohu and Futian. Need more Details Please!

(1) Please detail exactly what to do to go from (A) Hong Kong to Luohu and (B) Return to Kowloon . What is the difference in going TO/FROM LUOHU and TO/FROM FUTIAN from HK/KOWLOON? Please give more specific details. Not sure yet where our hotel will be but most likely Luohu. Please tell EASIEST way even if more expensive or takes long as we have bags to bring.
(2) We will have 2 fairly large suitcases each. Will this be possible to carry? Is there a porter?
(3) Is there a place to store bags for overnight one or 2 nights leaving HK? We will then return to Kowloon.
(4) Due to the bags, we need directions using taxis as much as possible even if short distance.
(5) How long will this take in total each way?
(6) What to expect in Customs arriving and departing.

1. A. From HK to Luohu, take Tung Chung Line at Kowloon Station, and get to Nam Cheong Station. Then take West Rail Line to Hung Hom Station and East Rail Line to Lo Wu Station. After arriving, pass the custom and arrive at Luohu Port.
B. The return way is the same.
C. From Kowloon to Futian, also take Tung Chung Line to Nam Cheong Station. Then transfer to West Rail Line to Hung Hom Station and East Rail Line to Lok Ma Chau Station. Pass the custom and walk to Futian Port.
D. As I know, Futian Port has less people and shorter queue. So you are suggested to stay at a hotel nearby Futian Port.
2. Yes, you can carry the suitcases. But I'm afraid that there is no porter service.
3. Yes, there are several luggage storages in HK. For your convenience, you can put your luggage at Kowloon Station for one or two nights.
4. If you decided to put luggage at Kowloon Station, you can take subways according to the transportation mentioned before. It's not necessary for you to take the taxi.
5. By subway, it takes around 70 mins with the ticket fare of 41.5 HKD per person.
6. You can easily find the right direction and pass the custom because of many English signs. Don't worry.
