About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can I enjoy the 72 hour visa-free transit?

i will be flying into Beijing from USA and then will fly to Hongkong
Then fly from Hongkong to Shanghai
Then Shanghai to Singapore

Am I eligible to use 72 hour free transit for Beijing and as well as Shanghai ?

Veena, the 72 hour policy is applicable to both of your transits in Beijing and Shanghai.

thank you for your reply - just to clarify would I be fine for 72 hours in Beijing and 144 hours in shanghai ( I will be in Shanghai for 4 days) - and how about if I fly from Shanghai back to USA?

Veena, don’t worry! You are eligible for the 72 hour free transit in Beijing and the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai!
If you are fly from Shanghai to USA, it’s fine and you can still enjoy the free transit.
