About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Will going to Hong Kong and Macau on the same trip use up both of my entries?

I have a 180 day student visa with 2 entries. I want to go to Hong Kong and then take the ferry to Macau but I also may go to Mongolia this spring. Will going to Hong Kong and Macau use up both of my entries? Thanks!

Katarina, your trip to HK and Macau won’t use up your double entries because the student X type you hold now is only valid when you enter or exit mainland PRC. In this case, you can travel to Mongolia.
