applying visa without a hotel booking

Hey, I am a Hungarian national studying in Tokyo this year. I am visiting a friend, Norvegian national studying in Shanghai this year, thus I do not have a hotel booking but her address. Will be application be excepted? Thank you

Hi, Diana, in this case, it's ok if you don't have a hotel booking. You can ask your friend to issue you an invitation letter and state in the letter that you will stay with her or him.
