About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Will the 72 hr free transit work for me or do I need to pay for a Visa?

I am arriving in Shanghai on 4/14 for 1 night then flying to Guangzhou to attend the Canton Fair for 2 nights. Leaving back from Guangzhou to Los Angeles.

Dear, I’m sorry that you are not eligible for the 72 hour free transit because according to the policy, you can only transit in one Chinese city, but you will transit in two. In this case, you should apply for relevant entry permit ahead of your trip.
