About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Narita-Shanghai-Taipei-Nagoya uk passport

I will be in Shanghai for less than 72 hours on this itinerary. Can I still avail of the 72/144 hour visa-free system even though I am flying on to Taipei on my next stop? I believe I don't require an entry permit for Taipei tourist visit.

Thanks,

Eoin

Eoin, you can enjoy the 144/72 hour free transit. When speaking of the 144/72 hour policy, Taiwan is considered as a third region.
