Can I extend a six months student Visa with a passport which have a seven months validity period

Joel, yes, it's possible to extend it if you are in China.

Joel, it’s impossible for you to extend it for a year because your original X type is only valid for six months, the extended duration cannot be more than the original one.

Initially, my x1 was suppose to valid for 12 months, I didn't have enough money at that time, so i applied for 6 months, and i want to extend my studies,and now my passport is to expire in 7 months time, so i want to extend 12 months, can that be possible

Dear, but your current X type is valid for 6 months, right? So it’s impossible for you to get an extended duration for more than 6 months.
