do i qualify for the 72 hour transit visa

Question

Hi i am a British citizen and in August i will be travelling on the Trans Siberian to Vladivastock, then over to Japan for couple of weeks staying with Japanese friends before taking ferry from Kobe to Shanghai in order to catch a ship from Shanghai to Australia, will i be eligible for the 72 hour free Transit? I will certainly be in Shanghai under 72 hours. Thank you! Alison from Britain

Alison, the 144 hour free transit policy will be carried out on Jan. 30, 2016. So if you travel after Jan. 30, you can enjoy the this policy.
