I live in France and plan to travel to Shanghai and then by rail to Hangzhou and Suzhou and back to Shangai- what is the best itinerary?- can I book in advance from France?- from which station do the rides depart , in Shanghai, in Hangzhou and in Suzhou?- what is the price for such a tripThksB.Cadi

You can choose any route like Shanghai-Hangzhou-Suzhou-Shanghai since there are many rides a day between them. You can book it online in advance via some booking agents. For the stations they are very different for each ride. You can choose which one you want to depart from first and then choose the ride based on it. The price can be lowered to about USD35 for this route but if you book from the booking agents, hey would have service fee as well and different from each other.
