About:China Business Visa

Options to stay a bit longer here, maybe set up a company and sponsor myself?

Hi, I am Sebastian from Latin America. Have been two months in Shanghai studying Chinese and just love this country, so would like to stay a bit more but getting some income as on student visa can't work...

It is true that it is not easy at all to get a work Z type (need sponsorship from a company and your permit is attached to them, although possible...) but... I wonder how easy or difficult it would be to set up a business and sponsor myself through the company, or how can I get a business M type that enables me to stay here for a while and get some income/start a business. In general, what options do I have?

I have lots of ideas but I am short of capital. What possibilities do I have? My X type expires in May so still have few months but just want to be planing my full year of the Monkey in China.

Thanks in advance!

If you have an employer who can give you Z type work permit, then its good. But if none, I suggest you open a business for yourself. WHOLLY FOREIGN OWNED ENTERPRISE ( WHOE) , that is what you need to open a business. You may contact Zanya Consulting 13928789801. I have mine the same and they process my business. Not so expensive and does'nt need capital depending on what line of business you want. After the business registration, you can apply for your working Z type under your own company. 😊
