About:China Student Visa

Multiple entries on X1 visa?

I am coming to China to study for a year and would like to travel to a few other places while I am in Asia. Does the X1 type allow me to exit the country during my time there without having to start the process all over again?

Hannah, after you enter PRC, you can get a residence permit with this X1 type permit. The residence permit will allow you to enter and leave freely within its validity.
