How quick is applying for 72hr visa free in Transit Service Counter in Beijing Capital Airport?

Hi there,
Do you recommend to do it upon arrival or speak with airline before departure? Thanks

Bart, the procedure in Beijing is a bit different from other airports. You needn't inform the steward in advance. Upon arrival, you can follow the instructions to find the counter on your own. It won't take too long. If there is not a long queue, you can finish the process in several minutes.
