My Daughter has just been offered a placement in China for a Year

Please can you let me know if Beijing is a safe place for a 21yr old girl to be on her own, as my daughter has just been offered a placement to teach.

Yes, it is a safe city! The local people are quite friendly, and there are more and more overseas living and working there. No worry. But don't go out alone at late night.
