what is my best option to get bullet train from Shanghai to Beijing travelling 08 sep. 16?

It's suggested to take bullet train from Hongqiao Railway Station and arrive at Beijing South Railway Station. The train schedules are from 06:43 to 17:39 at intervals of 20 to 30 mins. It takes around 6 hours on the way. The ticket fare of second class seat is CNY553 and first class seat is CNY933.1
