About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

can i get student X visa ??

I am studying in china last 4 year .. my pasaport validity is expired .. i got stay permit for a month to complete my exam .. now i got new passport .. can i get new entry permit?? or i have to go back my country and issue new jw202 to get X type ...

Ismail, do you want to continue your study? If yes, you can ask the school issue relevant certificates to prove that you will study in PRC. In this way, it’s possible for you to apply for a study X type.
You can try to apply for it at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB if you have all the required documents required. But if it fails, I’m afraid you need to go back and apply for it.

thanks for answering me .. can you please tell me more details about PRC and PSB.. i got stay permit up to 28 january in my old passport .. now i have new passport. can i get X type in this new passport

Dear, PRC refers to China and PSB means the public security bureau.
If you want to continue your study in PRC, you can ask your school to issue relevant certificates and then you go to the local PSB to try to apply for a new X type.
