About:China Transit Visa

Do I need a transit visa? I am a Filipino.

From Seoul, I will arrive in Shanghai March 8, layover of 13 hours before going to Manila. I want to explore Shanghai for just 6 hours, and I have to leave the airport.

You needn't apply for a transit type. When you arrive, you just apply for the stay permit at the immigration. It's a stamp on your passport and you can get it for free. With that stamp, you can leave the airport.
