Will my husband take pain medication to China?

My husband has a hip replacement that is cracking and is in pain when he stands or walks for extended time. The doctor has given him a pain medication to help.

Ellie, to play it safe, he can ask the prescription from his doctor. Then he shouldn't have any problem at the customs.
