Prescription medicine is in bottle with prescription on it, is more information needed for entry?

I have 2 thyroid medications and my husband has medication for depression. We will be in China for 2 weeks and we will have the appropriate amount of medication in the original prescription bottles (from the pharmacy). Is that enough verification to bring medication into China? Thank you

That's not enough. You should have a medical certificate and prescription from your doctor.
