How to get to the Yupinglou Hotel (on the mountain)?

My friends and I will be arriving in Huangshan city by train early on the 18th (around 7:30am). How do we go about getting up to our hotel which is on the mountain itself? I have the address in Chinese and speak enough to get around mostly. Should we take a taxi? Are there buses?

You are going to reach Huangshan Railway Station not the North Railway Station, right? If yes, you may take a bus to Tangkou for CNY 20. The buses are available from 5:30 to 17:00, and the trip takes about 1 hour. If you taxi there, it costs about CNY200-250.

Upon arrival, take a bus to Ciguangge Station from Xinguoxian Bus Interchange Station. It costs CNY 19. Afterwards, take the cable car up, and walk to the hotel. :)

I am sorry, we are actually going into the North Railway Station. What would be the route to Yupinglou arriving that way?

Oh, the transportation is similar. After arriving at North Railway Station, you can take direct coach to get to South Gate of scenic area. The coaches depart from 8:00 to 17:30 at intervals of 30 mins. It takes around 50 mins on the way. The ticket fare is CNY 20 per person. After arriving, take tourist bus to Ciguangge and take the cable car up the mountain then walk to your hotel.
