S1 Visa Letter of Invite Inquiry

I will go to Philippines and marry my fiance this Chinese New Year. In order to apply for the S1 type, does she need an invitation letter from me since I have a residence permit valid til Sept 2016, or does my employer issue it or does the letter need to contain my employer's stamp on the letter?
